It's a great convenience store that's littered across the area like Chinese students in a government school =P

I went to the store near the mosque on Wednesday with Ardi and Shalini =P Shalini's mum came and gave us a lift in a HUGE, bew-teee-ful car XP BMW I think >.<

Anyways, putting aside the fact that I'm obviously a car noob... the three of us went into the store after school , and spent give or take 15-20 minutes in there.

Right now you're probably thinking, what were we doing in there?? Well, let's make a little... well, maybe not so little...

1. Buy food and drinks
(Duh, why else would we be there right? =P)

2. Browse
(Now, this is not buying stuff. This is merely window shopping minus the window and the shopping... Wait, that's not helping... Ooh, shopping and helping, it rhymes! XP

3. Eat Oreos
(Yes, Ardi bought some Oreos and some milk that we snipped open and he taught Shalini and I how to eat 'em. [Twist, Lick and Dunk] I skipped the first two though XP I am currently still haunted by delicious-ness of it all XP)

4. Buy stuff for a sister through the wonderful technology that is "mobile phonage" =P
(Shalini had to buy instant noodles for her sister. It was a VERY grueling task, serious! We took a long time to recover from all the laughing =P)

5. Waste money
(Yea, Ardi was broke when we were done.)

6. Make new friends
(I said hi to the cashier, who just happened to be the same one who saw my hair-do and make-up during the production, TWICE! And of course, it's all thanks to Illy non? I don't think she recognised me though.

7. Clean up
(Picture Oreo crumbs scattered on the counter and on the floor =P)

8. Read magazines
(Well, I didn't read exactly XP Just flipped through it and wonder why people pay for things they can get on TV, the internet or the news for free... Uhh.. Homer much? =P)

9. Look at stuff you're never gonna buy
(This is kinda like browsing, which is kinda like window shopping without the window and shopping, which rhymes with helping. But it's better!! XP That's cause you know you're NEVER gonna buy cosmetics, fags, a cigar filter or a shaver from 7-11 EVER =P)

10. Spend time with good friends =)

I got a new phone (W300i) XP

Yeap, my parents suprised me when my dad got me to tag along while he bought his new phone, THEN bought a new walkman handphone for me =P

And I only murmured about not having a phone once, and only cause I was asking my mom how I would contact her from AP.

This is a historical event!!! I already accepted the fact that they wouldn't buy me a new handphone since they had warned me about this when they bought me the first phone, my beautiful, recently stolen SE W810i.

Well, I have been downgraded to a lime green, citrus orange and metallic silver little phone known as the SE W300i. I miss the black chrome obviously. But it's a pretty good catch at RM 480, despite the slight downgrading. =P

Firstly, my former collection of about 120 something songs have been reduced to a mere 53 songs, 5 or 6 which are annoying ringtones which I can't seem to remove.

Also, my magnificent 2.0 MegaPixel camera has been replaced by a scrawny 0.9 MegaPixel.... For lack of words to describe it, Camera...

Well, that's pretty much it. I'll miss the convenient camera but I'm not really one to camwhore, so WTH. And as soon, as I get some cash, I'll be changing the cover and upgrading my memory card.

There's not much else difference actually, except for the slight reduction in sound quality.

Anyways, I'll be retaining my old no. which I just activated this morning for a short period of time, until my parents finish deciding on whether to give my no. (Which, coincidentally, is my grandmothers birthday) to my grandmother, or just let me keep it.

Datz about it, anyways, yesterday didn't turn out sour after all XP After my brief sob session, I started contacting people and actually managed to throw together an impromptu gathering of people at Ampang Point XP Anyways, we had tons of fun, though SOME people had to leave early XP

After a long, tiring and enjoyable outing, I was sent to cut my hair. XP I spent an hour at Derrick&Team. Wonder why?

After that, I headed to Sushi King with my family for dinner, and met Illy, Serena and Flo there. After that, headed out to Ampang Point again for some "shopping" XP

Then after that, we drove to two McDonalds searching for ice-cream.

So we decided to try some special Ice-Kacang at a familiar mamak stall =P

I just got off the phone with Fiz and what do you know? The usual thing happens. EVERYONE I invited to go out today cancelled, mostly last minute, or forgot completely about it...

Yeah, I suck...

Right now, i feel like ranting...

But part of me says it's pointless, and my time is better off spent on more worthwhile things then wasting it on things that're never going to happen.

Forget it...

I'm gonna go do something to get my very stupid head off my very annoyingly emo day... >.<

Theory exams are over! Finally!

To tell the truth, taking Grade 6 theory over a leisurely 2 years has actually pulled me out from my little world, where I romantically thought that composing music on piano was by ear. I was found mistaken when I learnt there were actually formulae to memorise in composing.

*Bang* goes that theory >.<

Anyways, I'm not that concerned about this years ABRSM paper. Q4 and 5 is usually the killer but compared to the past years practise papers I've tried, this year's is actually quite straight forward.

Q4 was a Violin Sonata which was atonal (Had no fixed key) so I figured it would be from the Modern period. Sadly, no music history Q's in the ENTIRE paper this year.

*Cry,cry* Lol.

And Q5 was a ochestra piece by Schubert. Obviously from the Romantic era.. But again, no questions on that.

Q4 was confusing to say the least. I mean, 3 key changes in 6 bars? What's the point??

Well, like I said, theory is a killer, and I'm facing my Grade 7 Practical exams this Thursday.

Just kill me now.

This is a little something to bring attention to the local music scene that more and more young artists are tapping into these days. I dropped by Jimi's school some time ago and they were having a band gig thing, SMK HardKore with several underground bands performing.

A band with Rock in mind for the genre and very fun members. The band is from Sri Garden and is a relatively new member to the local scene. They're not very experienced but they can handle a crowd quite well. Reps from this band are Nick and Billy.

This band is also relatively new, plays mostly hardcore rock and so on. They focus more on the music rather than the vocals, but they have definitely made a good impression on their instrumental skills. However, Salt Factory is not the band's name, the band members have yet to decide on a permanent name. The rep's name is Panjang.

This band seems to be quite active in the local underground scene, and they even managed to belt out Avril Lavigne's hit song, Girlfriend pretty well. They're quite experienced and handle a crowd pretty well. The rep from this rockin' group is Acap.

Civil Disorder seems to be the most experienced and popular band with the crowd, for good reason. Again, music plays a big role with the group and some of its members has not had any formal lesson, but are self taught. Which is rare for a band of such raw talent. This group has already come out with a self-produced album, and some of their hits have already been circulating the airwaves via Fly.fm. The album can be ordered through moi. However, I encourage y'all to wait for the more professional recording which will be available soon. Rep is Khairul "Spanky".

All the bands above have their unique style and representation, and I have already gotten permission from the reps of the bands to allow Cempaka to interview them as well as have a LIVE performance in the broadcasting studio over at the Cheras campus.

So go take a look at these bands by utilizing Google or something.
