Truth is there's no actual "Safe Sex" Cause not contraceptive is 100% effective.

Actually, I already know quite a lotta people who aren't virgins and who talk about sex like it's as normal as taking a piss in the toilet...

It's sad... But true.

Anyways the only actual way to prevent unwanted pregnancies and STD's (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) would be...

Envy

So Tired...

I Hate Mondays.

Yeah, that's the T-shirt I was wearing in the morning when I crawled up from my bed and stumbled into a wall. Oh well, at least I missed the door...

Kinda... >.<

I haven't had time to update since the Bronze Expedition, which was really fun! But kinda tiring... =P Made loads of new friends, it was nice meeting y'all. Hope to see you guys more often, pretty soon in fact XP Well, there were quite a lot of activities, I had tons of fun.

Yay. =P

The bad parts were the leeches, who wants to wake up covered in those slimy, blood-sucking... things?

Not me.

Well, I pity Fizz during the camp, You can head over to his blog to see/ask why. =P Btw, there are tons of rumours around this place about him and someone else... I hate rumours, and so does he, so I'm gonna tell you right now... Stop it. Don't go bothering him anymore...

He is loyal and his eyes don't go wandering around like some other guys. So, you know who you are, stop spreading stupid rumours...

Or you'll get it.

Anyways, I hardly had any sleep in the past few days, cause I couldn't really sleep during dinner on Saturday and when I finally did, I woke up at 7.00am.m in the morning to get to church...

Fat lot of good that did. XP

Then after church I went home, packed, got ready then went off to pick up K.N. & P.N at Jelatek station before heading off to this rad indoor court at Batu Tunggal 11. I bagged some new basketball moves XP even though I kinda sucked, but I'm going to do by best to master the precious few I managed to grasp, and a few others...

Essay for my English teacher...

I'm supposed to write a beautiful essay that begins with the words It was cold... And it's supposed to be 150-200 words. Right... Like I could actually write an actual story with that annoyingly small amount of words...

Anyways, I decided to just forget the word limit and write the essay. XP Sorry Mr. A!

Shalini and Kah Hean read some of it already, and they said they like it so I better post it up here so they can finish it off and so I can get more comments =P I just noticed it doesn't have a title... Hmm... Lemme give it one XP

Cold Hearts

It was cold with the air-conditioning on at full-blast, but the whole facility seemed deserted, it's eerie silence steadily punctuated by the echo of a heavy shoe against solid titanium. Small lingering puffs of vapour hung in the dry air as he thawed his frozen fingers in the useless pockets of his anti-septic lab coat. God, it was cold... He hugged his poor excuse of a drafty coat around him desperately, stiffly striding towards his laboratory relunctantly. He had no choice.

A minusicle yet indestructable camera mounted on the smooth metal walls monitered him with one unblinking red eye, nothing escaped it's keen sight, just like he had planned it would. The solid doors of his laboratory slid open to allow him entry, closing in ominous silence behind him. All these were wheels and gears of a state-of-the-art housekeeping and security program, code-named MOTHER, which he had stolen right under the governments nose, hoping to sell it off on the underground circuit for a hefty profit. After all, even a hacker such as himself would require food, and bytes he had didn't sastify his hunger and greed. But in the end, the joke was on him, and they had the last laugh.

The laboratory was warmer, but of course it should, they wanted him to work, so they made sure comfort would only come when he pleased them. They, those insufferable geeks who worked for the confounded government. They merely had to track him and insert a little "upgrade" into MOTHER. A little "upgrade" which would allow them control of MOTHER, which the hacker had installed into his personal underground R&D facility as a celebratory "present". Now they had control over his life, they struck a bargain with him.

He sat down at his modified computer, the one that had taken him years to complete, he was as proud of it as he was his pregnant daughter and the grandson she was to bring, and he had promised that his grandson would know his Grandpapa. God, it was so cold. A bitter tear rolled haltingly down his tired, old cheek, the chill slowed it's journey and numbed him. He looked at his bargaining chip on the flickering screen, it was a satellite interference system, a program the government had bade him do for the past few weeks. His fingers flew to the keyboard as the maestro began to program his latest creation to strike tomorrow at September 11, 2001.

He wondered why it was so important. He looked at the clock, it was 8.30 a.m. Maybe tomorrow, he would see the sun again. Then he could check in on his daughter at 9.00 a.m. The poor dear had to serve clients at the World Trade Center every morning. He sighed.

God, it was cold.

Internet Addiction?!

Omg.

It seems that internet addiction has progressed through us youth pretty quickly. Beijing, China has actually arranged centers and programmes to curb this "disease" Suprisingly enough, people actually enter these programmes. (Mostly youth of course.) And...

To add salt to the wound, people actually RUN AWAY from these things! AND these programmes are a meagre 10 days per session.

How can you NOT stand 10 days of no internet??? It's... Sad >.<

By now you'll be saying... "Easy for you to say Lex! No internet is like Hell on Earth!" I disagree. I'm sure I can kick this "addiction" pretty much anytime I feel like it =P

In fact, I'll prove it this weekend. I'll be joining the school Bronze Expedition to Pahang this Friday and I'll be back on Saturday.

48 hours of no internet. What? You don't think I'll make it? =P

Guilt Food guilt...

I'm actually beginning to feel guilty for eating certain foods these days, and I'm even feeling concerned about my fitness and well-being. It may seem impossible, but just now, I actually took 10 seconds to choose whether to snack on a bar chocolate or a kiwi.

I mean, that's just... unnatural.

Of course, I do love kiwis as well, but compared to chocolate, that hairy glob of green flesh is usually no competition... At least, that's what I thought... So, how in the world did the kiwi win???

It's not right!

Well, I think it has something to do with the fact that most of the guys I know actually starve themselves and work out at the gym every free moment they get. Just to get their Limited Edition Most Wanted Six-Pack.

But how did that affect my appetite???

After all, just imagine that poor bar of chocolate, all alone and freezing cold in my refrigerator... It's heart-breaking...

Maybe it's the hairy legs, or maybe it's the meal-skipping...

But I'm not going to let those things influence me anymore!!! No way, Hosea! I'm going to be healthy AND enjoy my food!!

Now where's that chocolate? =P

Blue-Black In Colour

At this very moment, I'm siting in front of the computer decked out in a black CREW t-shirt and sky blue Cempaka basketball school team pants and drinking Milo. No, not coffee, Milo. I think any person who sees me now would be pointing, mouth open, with sirens blaring. Hello?

But I can't do much about it, I'm going off to school pretty soon and I'm not interested in dressing like that wannabe cheerleader up there. [short mini-skirt and skin-tight tube]

Not my style mon ami. >.<

Maybe my "style" is a bit off center for most people, but I like the way I dress... sometimes =P I really like "starting" off a fashion. If I wear something simple that looks good, people may start wearing it that way too. Of course, I don't want to start a whole following.

But I enjoy seeing what other people can do to "my" style. If I wear my sleeves, one up, one down. Maybe someone will start wearing their pants, one up, one down. That would be pretty interesting.

Ooh la la. =P

Or maybe if I wear a short dress over jeans, someone's going to start wearing their underwear over their pants.

Scratch that. >.<

Don't be Shy

How do I [a girl] talk to a guy?

Some of my girl-friends have said to me...

"How can you talk to guys so easily? I could never do that."

Well, I don't exactly know, but I've always been more familiar with guys than girls... Even when I was a little girl. I was more of a tomboy who didn't play with barbie dolls and loved playing tag and catching grasshoppers with the guys. (I caught bigger and better ones than them btw. XP) We had tons of fun though, we would always laugh and joke around. If we got angry at each other it'll blow over like a storm in a teacup sooner or later. =)

So I had more fun hanging out with guys than girls.

Most girls wouldn't even talk to me because they would scream at the sight of a grasshopper and say no whenever I asked them if they wanted to play catch. They also had this annoying habit of holding grudges against me, and treating me like mud. So for such things to occur to a little girl like me... I came to the conclusion that...

Guys were more fun than girls. Period.

So I continued hanging out with guys. As I progressed in years, I started making more "girl -friends" but the majority of my friends were still guys. =P I was comfortable with them, and usually whenever I talk to a guy, I'm friendly and at ease, because I could usually read them quite easily.

Girls... are kinda tough to read, they're very complicated books. But I don't mind the suprises, I just like to know hot to handle something unexpected. After all, I don't really like talking to people who would be sugary sweet one second, and explode in volcanic anger the next for no apparent reason.

Don't do that. It's scary. >.<

Anyways, I just talk to guys like I do any other human being. I usually make the first move, and just be friendly, cause I want to make friends. I do the same to make friends with girls too. That's all. I was kinda shy at a certain period in time, but I figured, if I was having difficulties trying to make friends, but I STILL wanna make friends anyways... Then chances are that guy is feeling the same way too.

So I'll just make the first move.

It saves time AND saves me from akward "what-to-do-now" situations. I just go do it =P It's also feels great to make a new friend now and then. =) I learn a little more from everyone.

I guess you really have to be interested in a person to want to talk to him/her, and even to be friends. So, show an interest in the person, and talk. But please don't fake it, that sucks. If you don't know what he/she is talking about, then ask. It's interesting to learn something new. =)

Just be sincere when you make friends

No matter what

There's a new chinese singer in town, people! Yeap, we're talkin Kay Elle, and this guy is fresh! ;)

His name is Zhang Zhen Hong and he's a 31 year old lawyer who has turned his hobby of singing into a jammin' side career. Don't believe me? Check out his blog!

He sings mostly R&B and he's pretty good. Even though I'm not really into chinese songs, this guy can really get your feet tapping ;) Check him out people!

I like Oranges

XP For those of you who're wondering, the reason for this wierd bout of hyperness happened during 3.30-4.30p.m. today.

I was at C3, which by the way, if you didn't know, has a FANTASTIC new caterer XP The food is top-notch, however I can't actually say the same about the prices. So if you feel like enjoying dim sum or nasi dagang at the all-new C3 Cafe, then be prepared to clean out your wallet. =)

Anyways, I was hanging out with Fizz,then Joey came and joined us. He was eating... carrots. I should try that sometime. XP Btw, the raw, cut imported carrots are only RM 1 a fresh carrot. XP Yeap, since the price for all the cut fruits/ vegs were only RM1 I decided to try a small, cute, citrus orange. =)

The quatered slices of orange didn't look so cute in my mouth though XP Though the bright orange peel helped brighten up my smile quite a bit =P Not to mention the wonders it did fror my "sunny" disposition.

After eating that orange, I got kinda "drunk" XP I think it also had something to do with the orange muffin I ate before the oranges. which was RM2 btw XP. It did taste pretty good =P Hehe... I got "high"

Chocolate

Moist, rich and dark as earth, chocolate comes in all kind of shapes and types.

I love mouth-sized pieces of chewy chocolate, left outside the fridge for a few well-anticipated minutes to soak up the cheerful warmth of the world. The creamy texture and delicious aroma of chocolate, slightly warm and melty in my mouht... Mmmm... It's an addiction I cannot seem to shake.

I love chocolate syrup, warm and inviting, milky and alluring, shraply contrasted by a delectable scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Rolling down the side of a frosty glass of root beer, as scoops of whipped cream and ice cream bob gently on a creamy sea of froth.

I love chocolate biscuits, with creamy coats of chocolate that hug the crisp bodies of wafers. Just imagining the thin layers of chocolate melting at the touch of my hot mouth... It's sheer ambrosia...

Is there any wonder why I LOVE chocolate? XP

It All Boils Down To...

I like life,

I respect it.

Life brings so much with it and it leaves a lot more behind. It's like a good traditional family recipe where electric and machinery have no part.

The type of lemon pound cake, hand-mixed with fresh home-grown lemons which, once removed from the oven to cool on the windowsill, smells so mouth-wateringly tasty that any young boy who walks by and catches a whiff of that deliciously buttery aroma would run home and beg his mom to make one just for him.

But like all recipes, not all ingredients are sweet, and most are bitter. After all, too sweet a taste can make you sick.

There are the bad stuff,
like being rejected from a new job or falling down from your bicycle.

There are the good stuff,
getting a better job offer or riding your bike perfectly for the very first time.

There are the boring bits,
home alone on a Saturday night or waiting endlessly and wondering if it's worth it, for someone to turn up on a blind date.

There are the exciting bits,
a suprise visit from a significant other when you had no plans whatsoever or finding out your blind date was an old flame, who you've sorely missed and wished you've had a second chance to be with.

There are the bitter, tart moments,
the loss of a friend or diagnosis of a terminal illness.

There are the moments sweeter then anything that surpass any bitterness you have tasted,
regaining a closer friend or celebrating those few more months of a fulfilling, sastifying life.

Mix it all together...

Add some nutty bits, a little Hope to hold it all together, a dash of Faith to spice it up, and bake with tons of creamy Love...

It all boils down to this..
