Interesting Sunday
I got up at 6.45 a.m., give or take. Then I suffered through a COLD shower and a splitting headache from the last nights "party" That's when the unthinkable happened... *Cheap B-Grade Sci-Fi Suspense Music plays*
I REALISED I WAS SICK OF OPEN HOUSE PARTIES! >.<
Like I said, unthinkable, as in next on the IMPOSSIBLE list to finding DoDo's flying through the winter blizzards of Malaysia. Me? How could anyone ever tire of having people over at your private sanctum almost EVERYDAY??? >.< *Shudders*
Anyways, I'll spare you the details of all the former open houses my parents and I had arranged. However, I'll tell you about the 2 open houses that happened after I got back from Church. >.< Sheer torture I tell you, T-O-R-T-U-R-E! *Cue Scream of Dismay*
For those of you who didn't know, my dad was the former president of the Rotary Club, Ampang. Because of that, he decided to invite the old farts over for lunch, chitchat and such. I escaped this merely because I sneaked a 100 Plus, some books from Steph and some chocolate, so I could camp out in my room. =P Sneaky me. Hehe...
However, I was pushed out of my sanctuary later cause the visitors didnt understand the technical wiring of a PS2, >.>
"Does the Red wire go into the White socket or the Red socket?" =.=" God save us all, Amen.
Anyways, riht after they left, I jumped an old bike and cycled over to UKRC for the usual basketball practise, which I didn't have for the past few weeks cause SCC had extra classes and UKRC had court problems. =(
Strangely, there were new players this week, they were really good... Great teamwork communication... Made me jealous... >.< LOL
Anyways, I also found out one of the Streething forumers was there too, he overheard my friends asking bout my nickname and so... Yeah... His name was... Ivan Omar, and he supposedly owns the most Jordans in Malaysia. =P Kewl! =P

CNY Celebration & GreenBox Outing
The CNY celebration at skewl yesterday went great!!! =P It was like a total Red Sea, with most of the students in red =) The assembly was great too =P
Looks like most people enjoyed the i-Movie pretty well =P Any feedbacks? Btw, with the success of the first F4Sc1 i-Movie, we've decided to make another one before year end, most probably after the last term exam. Yay! =)
Shalani has the final product of out i-Movie on her thumb-drive, and she'll be adding and removing a few EXTRA things before she burns a few CD's and sends it to anyone who wants one =P
Since it was such a great success, our class decided to go celebrate, at GreenBox Karoake =P It was at some place I've never been before, a new Jusco site =P Shalani's family (Really nice and friendly people) gave me a lift from skewl, and then we met up with Sher Min and Chi Yee in front of GreenBox. Then we went in and and began singing Jay Chou songs while waiting for the other guys... Ooh, there was unlimited free drinks btw =P Hehe...
Finally, after some time, Jason came, followed by Shang Chuen and Ka Hean, then they started requesting for songs which I usually listen to, but have no idea who sang it or what the lyrics are >.< thing ="P" color="#ccffff">English songs! >) Muahahaha... =P
We also had this little joke =P Shalani and I were talking about in school, discussing on Fly.fm and Hitz.fm... How Hitz.fm seemed to be playing all the OLD song suddenly... like The Tide Is High by Atomic Kitten... and she was doing the actions and stuff =P THEN... I saw the song in the song selection and decided to choose it =P Later on, Shalani took a look at our playlist and she was like, "WHAT is THAT doing there???" LOL.
Well, after awhile, Alan and Alex joined us, then Sher Min and Chee Yi left, Jason ciaoed, then Ke Hean and Shang Chuen left, then Shalani and I decied to K.O. =P Alan and Alex then went to order a new room to sing in =P
I then followed Shalini to her Chinese/English home, which is beautiful btw =) and Sharmilla, Shalani and I embarked on an interesting convesation about poisoned stones/candy and SPONGEBOB! =P Hehe... Then I followed my parents off to makan at a Mamak Stall, then went back home and collapsed >.<
LOL, all in all, it was a great day =P We should do this more often guys =)
Btw, Good Luck to Ms. Ng, shake the kids in Johor for us Cempakans!!! You were one of the best teacehrs I've had!!! We'll ALL miss you!=)

CNY i-Movie project
Saturday (Filming) In the afternoon, my dad dropped me off at Jason's house, where I then hitched a ride to Chen Yee's kewl house. =P Then, we ate my mum's cookies =P (Which she WILL start selling next year due to HUGE demand =P) then we wasted time and finally, got cracking on the filming =P

Sunday (Resting) Supposed to go KLCC for the Petronas 3 0n 3(Sorry Will.i.am!!! >.<) , but had no transport and had to help my parents... Sobb... I spent pretty much the whole day doing hmwk. >.< Oh well... I also switched to prepaid at night, but after smsing everyone about my new no., I ran out of credit >.< Oh no! Sryy to all the people who were waiting for my replies...
Monday (Editing) There was a lot of fuss over editing, cause there was at first, no compatible cable for my video camera, then there was not enough battery and whatnot... The Commonwealth Essay!!!

What Slavery Means To Me
I have only experienced one type of slavery, and it is only appropriate that I share on what I felt about those seven years of enslavement. That very slavery that trapped me in a mold, not unlike the molds a grandmamma would use to make gingerbread men, where I, like all gingerbread men, would run away, only to be confronted by the greed of a crafty wolf. I was enslaved to one of the cruelest masters a young, growing child could ever face, the Chinese Education System.

I pass her by, outside a pub, seemingly waiting for a person, Yet I stopped at once and looked more closely at her spent and wretched expression. She seemed trapped by poverty, a clenching cage, No more a child yet not yet of age, It’s obvious she has felt what others could not want to see, So much pain and suffering, you’d ask, how can it be? But there she sits, among the flies, And tired emotions simmer behind her empty eyes. Her legs bear marks of when she was young, The boys would throw stones to see her run. Breaks upon her mending spine, crippling one who should be tall, Bruises on her body wound her pride, etching in her, every fall. We are the people who pleasure at her loss, laughing out at failure we see. No one wants to share what is given from above, for less for her means more for me.

Field Trip and Basketball
Tomorrow, the Form 4's and Form 5's will be over at the KLCC Convention Centre to check out the exhibition on Islamic Scientific History, it's really interesting as I've been there before and I just can't wait to grab more pics! =)
The sad thing is we got split up into groups and we have to do research and gather information on certain exhibits. My group member is... Idzham!!! =P We gotta gather information on some ancient map. Owh... >.<
I also got a suprise phone call from my old friend, Will.i.am, =P whom I met at HUGE camp 2006... He was lookin for members for a basketball team for the Petronas 3-0n-3 challenge. Benjamin volunteered, and I hope he at least one more player >.<
When I called Will.i.am back, we kinda made plans to meet up there, since I most probably will be there with friends anyways. So I'm going there to support them and then maybe hang out =) Yay! =P Cant wait >.<
Well, my commonwealth essay is in its finishing stages... I guess its pretty okay... I'm writing on slavery, I kinda ditched The Bargain story. Maybe I'll continue it for blog posting when I'm free =P Hehe...
K, gotta go finish my formal letter, tomorrows the deadline's deadline =P K, gotta go...

Choral Speaking Countdown: 12 practice days
I have a sudden craving for chocolate coated candy canes >.< LOL. People have been popping into my house because of sheer boredom... LOL
Thursday, Jimi, Mark and John turned up... I gave them "somethin" to eat... then we went on9 like crap and finally cycled over to UKRC, then Steph's house, then we went to Melawati area's bball court =P to meet the usual Sat bball gang plus a few extras =P
Anyways, we had a game with a few random people, where I got to "show off" my bball moves =P Hey, it was fun *Shrugs*
Anyways, Saturday, Nelson, this guy near my house came over cause he was bored... He tried to log in to Friendster and completely forgot his e-add when Lex rescued him =P Then I helped him update his Friendster profile for the fun of it XP Oh well...
On that same night, the adults went off to have fun at Unc Lee's place, so as usual, all the "kids" were left off at my place... LOL... watching 3 movies in a row...
Oh well, my rest time is up, bye readers! Slide me some spamm!!!
